Participants will engage in peer learning to share challenges and promising practices.

Join the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health and the National Association of Community Health Centers for a webinar that will provide a fresh look at the state of oral health equity data. An expert panel, including Rosy Chang Weir, PhD of AAPCHO and Dr. Huong Le of AAPCHO Member Asian Health Services, will discuss data collection tools and standards, and then offer solutions on how to turn that information into practical solutions that can meet the needs of specific patient populations.

The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) cordially invites you to this annual webinar to learn about AAPCHO’s data analysis of the HRSA Bureau of Primary Health Care’s 2021 Uniform Data System (UDS) Data. The webinar will include recommendations to increase access to care, improve health outcomes, and promote health equity for Asian American (AA), Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (NH/PI) patients. Presenters will share preliminary findings from AAPCHO’s upcoming report, “The Health of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders Served at Health Centers: An Analysis of the 2021 Uniform Data System.”

Hep B United, co-founded and co-chaired by the Hepatitis B Foundation and the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO), is excited to announce its new Community Health Center Learning Collaborative (LC) module, “Getting to Protected.” The “Getting to Protected” module will focus on strategies for improving hepatitis B screening and vaccination, and keeping patients engaged. This virtual LC will foster a small cohort of community-based health centers, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), and/or FQHC look-alikes serving Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, African Immigrant, and/or drug-using communities in the US and/or its territories. The goal is for attendees to improve their capacity to implement hepatitis B education, screening, vaccination, and linkage to care programs and promote cross-sector partnerships with community-based organizations. The collaborative will have selected community health centers with model hepatitis B community engagement, prevention, and control programs, share their best practices, skills, strategies, and tested resources.
