“Asian Patients Confront Multi Pandemics: Racism, Immigration, and COVID-19” Advocacy Brief

This policy brief underscores the health and mental health challenges affecting Asian patients during the COVID-19 pandemic and the intersecting burdens, including anti-Asian hate and fears and confusion of changing federal immigration policies. In the brief, AAPCHO recommends that federal policymakers take action to address these multi pandemics.

AAPCHO hosted the "Health of Asian American and Native Hawaiian/ Pacific Islander Patients Served at Health Centers: An Analysis of the 2019 Uniform Data System" where we shared our data analysis of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) 2019 Uniform Data System (UDS) and made recommendations to increase access to care and improve health outcomes for Asian American (AA) and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (NH/PI) patients served at HRSA-funded health centers.
