National Partnership to Eliminate Tuberculosis Awarded New Grant to Expand Network and Serve More At-Risk Populations

The Tuberculosis Elimination Alliance (TEA) with the support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of TB Elimination, announced that it awarded a total of $250,000 to 12 community health organizations serving Asian, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino and African American communities that are disproportionately impacted by tuberculosis.

NCAPA Submits Additional Language Access and Data Equity Recommendations to the White House

NCAPA is proud to release a set of recommendations submitted to the White House related to data equity and language access. These are two high-priority issues that the AANHPI community has been working to advance for decades. The goal of the recommendations is to offer the White House feedback on important next steps the federal government can take on these issues, while also encouraging them to lay out a clear plan for future implementation.

AAPCHO Applauds the Reintroduction of the HEAL for Immigrant Families Act

The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO)  today released the following statement on the reintroduction of the Health Equity and Access Under the Law (HEAL) for Immigrant Families Act of 2023. The legislation would improve comprehensive health care access and coverage for immigrants, including for Asian Americans (AAs) and Pacific Islanders (PIs) served at community health centers.
