AAPCHO and MHP Salud released a report, “Healthy Eating Educational Resource for Asian American Populations: Brief Report on Survey Findings.” The report includes highlights and findings from the survey responses, revealing different food preferences and food security status. For example, respondents’ top preferred vegetables were broccoli, lettuce, tomato, and bok choy, whereas the top preferred vegetables in the United States are potatoes, tomatoes, onion, and carrots. With these results, AAPCHO and MHP Salud hope to work with partner organizations to create a culturally appropriate healthy eating resource.
