A needs assessment will be conducted and a new culturally appropriate intervention will be developed to address hepatitis B. Community member participation will be instrumental in the development of each. The results of this study will contribute to enhanced coordination of prevention, care, and treatment of viral hepatitis and serve as a model in developing culturally appropriate health care for other underserved populations.
